The nose is the most outstanding feature of the face to be at the center of it, being obvious to the whole world and impossible to cover or hide. As such it should keep a natural balance and harmony with the face to highlight its beauty.

Rhinoplasty can be a procedure of aesthetic, functional or both types, when the patient presents a respiratory problem that requires surgical correction.

Due to the ethnic characteristics of our population, rhinoplasty is the procedure we perform most frequently and in which we are more specialized, obtaining natural and harmonious results with the patient’s face.

Objective: To improve the appearance, structure and / or function of the nose in order to maintain a natural harmony with the rest of the face.

Surgery time: 2 to 3 hours.

Anesthesia: local with light sedation.

Remove of sutures: It’s NOT necessary. At 7 postoperative days, the acrylic splint and nasal plugs are removed, if these had been placed during surgery.

Hospitalization: NO, outpatient procedure.

Recommended rest: between 7 and 14 days although the patient can return their activities after 5 to 7 days postoperatively.

Scars: procedure performed nasally so the incisions are located inside the nostrils being imperceptible. In cases of secondary rhinoplasty (by previous nasal surgeries) an incision can be made in the nasal columella.
