Data Sheet:
Objective: Remove excess skin and fatty tissue located in the abdomen to refine the waist and obtain a flat and firm abdomen.
Surgery time: 3 to 5 hours
Anesthesia: epidural with sedation.
Remove of sutures: between 10 and 14 days.
Hospitalization: Yes, one night of hospitalization is indicated for monitoring, control of drainage and intravenous medication.
Recommended rest: between 7 and 14 days although the patient can return their activities after the fifth day of surgery.
Scars: a horizontal scar is left in the lower abdomen that goes between 20 and 35cm in length which is covered by the patient's underwear. There is also a small scar in the umbilical region resulting from the replacement of the umbilicus.
