However, these surgeries require preoperative examinations, are invasive and have a relatively long recovery period. Many patients who are beginning to show signs of aging such as accentuation of the nasolabial folds (under the nasal wings), nasoyugal grooves (under the lower eyelids), marionette lines (below the oral commissures), volume loss the cheekbones, they want an aesthetic improvement but they do not want to undergo a major surgical procedure nor do they have recovery time for a surgery. For these patients there are minimally invasive alternatives such as facial fillers that return the volume lost in these areas, attenuating these folds and achieving a more youthful face. The facial fillers approved by the FDA and the American Society of Plastic Surgery and the Peruvian Society of Plastic Surgery are two: hyaluronic acid and the patient\u2019s own fat.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6205a25d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6205a25d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHyaluronic acid is a type of sugar normally present in human skin. This substance in the form of gel is used to fill wrinkles or deep grooves found on the face. It is an excellent product with clear advantages such as facial filling with immediate and natural effect that lasts up to 1 year, without the need for preoperative exams or prolonged recovery and with a low incidence of side effects. It is important to bear in mind that hyaluronic acid is a relatively expensive product. A cubic centimeter of this substance costs between 250 and 300 dollars depending on the quality of it. However there are unscrupulous people who inject substances into the face and body of patients saying that they inject hyaluronic acid when in fact they inject biopolymers, liquid silicone or \u00abairplane oil\u00bb, substances that are harmful to health and that can cause irreparable damage to aesthetics and the health of the patient. This procedure consists in aspirating with a cannula small quantities of fat from another part of the body (usually of the abdomen or thighs), this fat being then used to replenish the volume in the facial areas that require it, having the advantage of being a natural substance, from the patient\u2019s own, so there is no risk of allergic reaction to the lipograft and it is available in every patient no matter how thin.
